Promise of Hope
From Aryez
Book 67 of the Marfat
67: Promise of Hope
1. At the end of things, when you are alone or without hope, you will hear your Lord
2. singing to you:
3. “Lay down
4. Your sweet and weary head
5. Night is falling
6. You have come to journey's end
7. Sleep now
8. And dream of the ones who came before
9. They are calling
10. From across the distant shore
11. Why do you weep?
12. What are these tears upon your face?
13. Soon you will see
14. All of your fears will pass away
15. Safe in my arms
16. You're only sleeping
17. What can you see
18. On the horizon?
19. Why do the white gulls call?
20. Across the sea
21. A pale moon rises
22. The ships have come to carry you home
23. And all will turn
24. To silver glass
25. A light on the water
26. All souls pass
27. Hope fades
28. Into the world of night
29. Through shadows falling
30. Out of memory and time
31. Do not say: «We have come now to the end»
32. White shores are calling
33. You and I will meet again
34. And you will be here in my arms
35. Just sleeping
36. And all will turn
37. To silver glass
38. A light on the water
39. Grey ships pass
40. Into the Horizon”
41. God will be a shield unto your troubles
42. He will be like the sweetheart you rest your head against when
43. you are in pain or agony. He is the balm that will heal your sorrows.
44. God is taking care of you. Do not fear Him. Everyone will go to Him
45. eventually. Death is not an end but a beginning. It is as the prophet
46. Tolkien said, “Death is another path, one we must all take.”
47. Why fear death?
48. The kingdom of heaven is sweet.
49. One will enter it running through a field of golden flowers.
50. They will pass by a bridge over a silver river, the waters
51. of paradise. Everywhere, there will be fruits blooming [an allegorical and literary way of describing heaven].
52. Life everywhere. Good everywhere. The sorrows of this world
53. will be washed away, no more than memories.
54. God cares for us so much, He loves us, He makes all
55. kinds of sacrifices for us. He guides us and never
56. abandons us. He punishes us for our sins but redeems even the worse sinners.
57. Above all, your Lord is a merciful, loving God not a hating, wrathful God.
58. The path of life may be filled with hardship and pain, but those who
59. endure it will be victorious in the end. God will deliver those who suffer.
60. Evil may win some battles, but rest assured that God will win the ultimate war.
61. Never lose hope. As long as there is hope, there is a chance for betterment.
62. God will always remain true to His hope and promise. God will never
63. surrender to the forces of the Devil. He will not let us fall to evil either.
64. Remember all the teachings of God. Yes, you be the judge of these teachings,
65. but those who follow the path of Heaven will be happier in the end.
66. Those who focus on details or on extremes miss the entire point,
67. the ultimate purpose of God and existence. He who chants God’s name but
68. acts in an unreligious way is no servant of God. Love God like you love
69. no other. Once you are with God, you are safe, and your mind will be at
70. peace. Hear a warning to those who err against God. It is not too late:
71. turn back to God, the merciful and forgiving. May the whole world be united
72. in truth, justice, and peace.
73. Evil cannot stand forever for it will destroy itself in the end. Then the forces
74. of good will crush it into the dust and resurrect the whole of existence
75. in a pure uncorrupted form. All, spiritual and physical shall be united into
76. the ultimate community of goodness, and the collective spirit
77. shall rejoice that it is whole and free from evil as God meant it to be, evil having
78. accomplished the purpose it was created for, although evil, being naturally
79. arrogant does not and cannot believe it is merely a pawn in God’s plan. To strive
80. against evil makes God’s plan all the more glorious.
81. But the destruction of evil does not come about without
82. our participation, our willingness to sacrifice, and our faith and moral goodness.
83. Then God will come like a flaming sword, and all nights will end, and day
84. will come again, forever and ever. Life is like a dark tunnel with
85. occasional glimmers. But the Lord is the light at the end of the tunnel.
86. O! Lord! Lord! With the greatest joy and devotion do we worship you!
87. We await your coming and your love!
88. May your reign of truth, justice, and peace last forever!
89. May your enemies be vanquished!
90. May you free us from our bondage of ignorance and hate!
91. Fulfill your promise, grant us unlimited hope.
92. Your promise of hope sustains us everyday, for you are the ultimate One.
93. We thank God for everything and will always live by His words. So God help us.
94. God is Great!
95. God is Great!
96. God is Great!
97. God is Great!
98. God is Great!
99. God is Great!
100. God is Great!
Commentary: This book concludes the Holy Marfat and states fully and firmly for all believers and all human and sentient beings the glory and power of God and His ultimate promises- promises of hope, justice, truth, and love. Remember God and praise Him. Remember His teachings and use them to make your life and the world a better place. And to conclude, here are the words about God in the words of God Himself [as He reaffirmed to Aryeztur],
“I AM THE WAY, THE TRUTH, THE LIFE. I AM THE LIGHT, I AM JUSTICE, I AM HOPE, I AM FATE. I AM LOVE. I AM FIRE AND WATER, EARTH AND SKY. I AM COMPASSION, HARMONY, AND PEACE. I AM KNOWLEDGE, FREEDOM, AND GLORY. I AM ALL, I AM IN ALL, AND I AM OF ALL. I AM GREATER THAN ALL. I AM THE FIRST AND THE LAST, THE BEGINNING AND END. I AM THE PATH TO ULTIMATE REALITY AND I AM THE DESTINATION OF ULTIMATE REALITY FOR I AM THE ULTIMATE REALITY, THE ULTIMATE CONSCIOUSNESS, THE INFINITE ONE, THE TRANSCENDENT ONE, OMNIPOTENT, OMNIPRESENT, AND. OMNISCIENT. I AM.”
