Angels

Angels are the denizens of Heaven. Generally innocent and caring in nature, they serve the will of God without question. Angels are very numerous, since several existed since before mankind. More angels are made every day as humans die, shift planes from Etrah to Heaven, and become angels. Next to the caring demeanor of angelkind in general, the largest difference between humans and angels is a large pair of birdlike wings on their backs. These wings are vital in flight at the beginning of an angel's existence, but as the angel develops skill and strength the wings become largely ornamental, and flight - especially at high speeds - is largely carried out through magic.
