[edit] Before the RP: Set Up
It is the year 2007 and Tokyo has been exposed to many strange things over the years. For one, Tokyo Mew Mew. In 2000-2001 there were a series of strange visitors to Earth, aliens, that rooted their plans for world domination in the matchbox city, Tokyo. Luckily, five girls infused with the DNA of endangered animals, the Mew Mews, came to the rescue. Thanks to their super powers the aliens were banished from Tokyo. Later, the mews were joined by Mew Berry in a fight against the Saint Rose Crusaders, but after that, life returned to normal for a few years.
Then, when 2007 was close at hand, the Angelique showed up. They were humans with, or who had at one point had, pure souls. Since the world was so impure, Mew Aqua could only hide in the souls of pure humans now. It gave these humans, now called Angelique, strange powers. A company called Repuren used this as the basis of their plan to 'restart' Earth by getting a super powered Angelique to destroy all life on the planet and then having another pure Angelique heal it so new life could be born.
Luckily, Tokyo Mew Mew still exists. With a truck load of new Mews and some Angelique and Aliens as their allies, Tokyo Mew Mew is working hard to stop this evil plan! But can they prevent anything?
