MariPere's Proposed Simplification of the Rules
I think our Rules are too hard to understand, and much too complex for an organization our size. Who's supposed to be tipsing all those lorries? Lorries are Big. Ancient Ways is Small. We have no business messing with lorries until we have a much larger active membership.
Until then, I propose that the Rules be streamlined as follows:
Article I. Intro
Basic Agenda:
- Regere imperio populos.
- Pacisque imponere morum.
- Parcere subiectis.
- Debellare superbos.
Article II. Body
All members are encouraged to:
- Find something in Latin.
- Throw themselves at it until they understand it.
- Find something else.
- Repeat.

Article III. Conclusion

Our rules are sufficiently complicated!
Our rules are just fine. They are overly complicted so only the most bored of people will have the time available to try to grasp them. A clear sign of dedication to Ancient Ways!
