Meia Sable is the second daughter of a semi-prominent family of weavers/dressmakers in the tiny town of West Namara. Due to a run in with Taiya during the gypsy girl's travels, Meia has got it into her head to become an adventurer and do something great with her life. What exactly she wants to be great at, she hasn't yet decided, but she has recently come to Centria to begin her travels. By coincidence, she has reunited with Taiya as well as meeting the Wolfpack Pirates and catching the attention of Emmaline Dantuma.

Meia is ridiculously cheerful and optimistic and more than a little giggly. She's a bit of a klutz with her feet, though she is an extremely skilled seamstress, due to her family training, and quite intelligent and well-centered in spite of her apparently outward innocent naivete. She is an excellent resource and counsel for emotional and personal problems.

• Meia is introduced wearing a newsie cap, but it rarely shows up in pictures because Clem is incapable of drawing it except from a side angle.

• Meia was originally created because one random day, Clem decided she liked how her hair was straightened that day and was tired of all her characters having weird poofy hair. So yes, Meia is based entirely off a haircut.

Secrets

Meia doesn't really have any secrets because she's rather open and overflowing at the mouth. It's not even really a secret that she ran off without telling anyone so she could have her grand adventure. Oh, she does think her older sister Anna is a stuck up, boring snob. But even that she'll tell anyone except Anna.

Meia doesn't have any Majik abilities of note.

Most of Meia's connections are still limited to friends and family back home in West Namara. She is rather intent on changing that though.
