The Bee is not to be confused with the Honeybee. This Bee is the stinging kind that originates from hives that fall from the trees.

Bees originate from the hives that fall from trees when they are shaken. When the hive falls, you will only have a few seconds to make your escape or catch the bee, or else you will suffer from bee stings. Up to three new hives appear every day, however it does seem that undiscovered hives will be stockpiled for a day or two.

If you don't remove the bee in time, you will be savaged by the bees. The stings will leave your face swollen and sore, and all your residents will comment on how scary your face looks.

There are two cures to bee stings. The first is to buy Medicine from Nook's, which will instantly remove any stings. The alternative is to save and end your game, then return to it. This will remove the stings for free.
