Virginia Council

Virginia Council BBYO #56 is the slightly smaller council of the two which comprimise Eastern Region (the other being North Carolina Council). Virginia Council consists of eight chapters - 4 BBG, 3 AZA, and 1 BBYO - and about 235 members of the over 600 in Eastern Region.
Two areas of Virginia primarily compromise the council - Tidewater (Virginia Beach/Norfolk) and Richmond.

Finally, established in 2011 by the 2011-2012 Council Leadership, a BBYO chapter was founded on Virginia Peninsula encompassing Williamsburg, VA and Newport News, VA - a chapter that came to be named Halutzim BBYO .
