The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 20, at West Lawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home in Eugene for Eileen Doane of Eugene, who died March 15 of age-related causes at age 94.
She was born July 7, 1912, in Greenfield, Iowa, to Ollie and Pearl Oldham Schantol. She married Belvin Doane on Aug. 24, 1929, in Springfield. She worked in the Lane County Assessor's Office until her retirement in 1977.
Survivors include two sons, Kenneth of Eugene and Belvin of Moraga, Calif.; a sister, Beth Payne of Springfield; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Her husband died May 29, 1997, and a granddaughter, Lisa Doane, died June 27, 1979.
Burial will be in West Lawn Memorial Park. Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene. Remembrances to the American Cancer Society.
