Midvalley Mentors looks like a great program! One of my inidse classmates just told me yesterday how amazing it would be if alumni could get involved in working with children of incarcerated people doing writing or other creative projects. One thing I heard come up in discussion at the Hub Meeting is that as we talk about ways to create opportunities for continuing involvement, we should consider that there are lots of inidse alumni who are really excited to stay involved as well. The OSP Think Tank is an amazing way to partner inidse and outside alumni, and I think a film club at OSCI would be a great way to get something started at another facility. Even if it started out as an inidse only club it would be a great way to start an ongoing Inside-Out related project, which I know many of my classmates at OSCI are really excited about.
