Abram D. Skaggs was born 1843 in Grayson Co. KY. He started his ministry in 1869. His first wife was Maria Pool. His second wife was Frances Kirkpatrick in 1867. His third wife was Elmina F. He was a circuit rider or settled minister in Mulkey Town, IL., Missouri, Mound Valley, KS, Labette, KS, California, Pleasant Hill 1889, Roseburg 1890 circuit, Junction City 1892, Independence, The Dalles 1896 - 1897, Corvallis 1897 - 1898, Stayton 1898, Portland - Rodney Ave. 1899, Vancouver 1901 - 1905, Centralia 1905 - 1909, Sunnyside 1910 - 1912, and Zillah.
