L. G. ADAIR
Was born in Frankfort, Jackson Township, Clinton county, Indiana, October 28, 1840. He entered the employ of the Pittsburg, Cincinnati and St. Louis railroad in 1866, and thus continued until 1873, when he joined the service of the Oregon and California railroad, arriving in Oregon September 25, 1873. In 1877 he came to Lane County and is the present agent for the company at Eugene City. Married in Richmond, Indiana, March 31, 1867, Miss S. E. Clawson, a native of that place, and has had one child, Elpha Juda, now deceased.
