Deny her apology in cruelty

"Your apology is not enough to spare you punishment." You shove a finger in her direction, scowling at her. "You have a job to do, and you are paid well to keep a schedule, are you not?"
She nods, her face downturned and eyes on the floor.
"You will suffer the consequence of your failure to follow that schedule."
"But..." she says, whimpering, "...what will be my punishment."
