Read OUR OPINION: Smart growth vs. sprawl.

a) What are the issues and problems?

OK

The problem is that when a community grows as they often do, plannnig is required to sustain the quality of life that existed before. If this planning does not take place or is done to hastily, the city will not be as functional as it could, forcing people to drive longer distances and turn to more fuel-reliant transportation.

b) If this where happening in your community, could you think of any positive or constructive resolutions?

OK

The best resolution i can think of would be to create a more elaborate train system so that the public could rely less on cars. Also I would encourage car pooling when transportation is required, however these things are mere suggestions, and would require a commitment from the public.

c) What are the positives of the plan?

OK

It will preserve, restore, and enhance some of the remaining habitat and species.

d) What are the problems with the plan?

OK

It's bad news for dogs and feral cats.

e) Do you think this is a possible solution? Why or why why not?

OK

It is a good plan, however in a major city, it will require a lot of effort end concideration from the citizens, some of who might not be on board.
