a) The Family Planning in the US programs include the National Family Planning Program: Title X,Equity in Prescription Insurance and Contraceptive Coverage Act (EPICC), and Abstinence Only. The Family Planning Around the World programs include the United States Agency for International Development(USAID), United Nations Population Fund, and Childhood Mortality.
The programs that work are the Childhood Mortality, the United States Agency for International Development(USAID),the National Family Planning Program: Title X,Equity in Prescription Insurance and Contraceptive Coverage Act (EPICC), and Abstinence Only. The Childhood Mortality program works because parents are most likely to plan a child's birth when they are assured a successful child birth. The United States Agency for International Development(USAID)program works because there is a worldwide effort to support and assist people struggling to make a better life, by improving people's lives in a free and democratic society. The National Family Planning Program: Title X works because it provides family planning services to women regardless if they cannot afford proper health services. Equity in Prescription Insurance and Contraceptive Coverage Act (EPICC)works because many insurance companies provide affordable contraceptives to women. Abstinence Only works because it provides teenage women and adult women with information about the benefits of practicing abstinence.
The program that doesn't work, is the United Nations Population Fund. The program doesn't work because the program funding is determined by Congress and its administration. Often times Congress and its administration doesn't provide enough funds to make the program successful.

b) The problems of overpopulation of humans involves the fact that our current consumption patterns stress limited natural resources and create wasteful and even toxic byproducts that affect the quality of life in communities around the world. An overpopulated Earth stresses our ecosystems and makes it impossible for Earth to sustain life. As humans we are overconsuming on water and habitats. The consuming of habitats has cause us to lose many species on the planet. The cause of our overconsuming will call the supply to run out for future generations on Earth. Since we consume so many natural resources we are producing to many toxins into the Earth. So much of the toxins are not being properly discarded.
