Leaving/Janet/Help with the peaches

"Super," Kay says. She draws some water from a well and starts heating it up. "You can peel them and put them in the bucket."
You peel the peaches, assisted by Kay, and when they're all done, she dumps them into a large iron pot full of boiling water. She goes outside and chops a small amount of wood, and you help her carry it in.
"I'll handle the rest myself," she says, handing you a small bucket of water and some soap. You go outside, wash the sticky peach juice off you, and return.
You read for a while as Kay finishes the process of canning the peaches. She then washes up, dumps out the pot, and returns.
"I usually read," she informs you. "But if you wanted to come cuddle... I haven't had another person around in a while."
