You ignore the hanging clothes and continue on down the trail. After a long walk you find a clearing that seems secluded enough. You set up your tent near an old log, dig out a fire pit and line it with rocks, then set out to gather kindling.
By the time you return it's round nightfall. You put the kindling in the circle, but don't light it yet. It's not particularly cold, and you don't have anything to cook right now. You snack on a little bit of the food you brought with you, figuring tomorrow should be better for gathering whatever food you can from the wild.
