You decide heading to Thornton, the city of pricks, is the best idea. You load your bike on the back of a bus and hop on.

The ride takes you from your hometown to the middle of the city, letting you off late in the day. As if to set the tone, no sooner do you leave the bus stop than someone tries to sell you a gold chain out of a cardboard box.

So now you're here. You still need to figure out where to stay.

• Find a nearby homeless shelter
• Be cliche and find an alley to sleep in
• Find an abandoned building to sleep in
• There has to be a bridge or an overpass nearby
• Ask around and find out if anyone knows where you can stay
