Youth Pastor - Maggie gets a call from her mother

Maggie's phone starts to ring, she looks at her phone "it's my mom I better answer" she picks up the phone "hi mommy" she greets her mother And listens to what she is saying "you have to leave?... For a month?... Maybe two?.... Can't I just be by myself?... well why not?... yes that is a while but...so you don't even know who I should stay with.... I know it was last minute, actually wait mommy I have an idea who could watch me... wait a minute I'll ask" she turns to you "it's my mom she has a last minute asigmwnt for her job and she'll be gone for a month maybe more and she doesn't want me home alone but there isn't anyone who can watch me" she looks at you with puppy dog eyes "could I stay with you please please please" her begging is cute and the idea of having her to yourself for a month is enticing.
"Well as youth pastor it is my job to help the teens of the community and it sounds like you need my help." You say with a smile on our face
She kisses you excitedly "thank you thank you I'll ask mommy if it's ok" she brings the phone back up to her ear "mommy what about mr Smith my youth pastor....yes he said it was ok...really?...really? That's great mommy yeah I'll hand the phone to him" she looks back at you "she said it's a great idea and just needs to talk to you" she hands you the phone.
You take the phone from Maggie "hello this is John Smith youth pastor " you greet Maggie's mother.
"Hello mr Smith, I'm Cheryl Maggie's mother, are you sure this is ok? I know this would be a big imposition" she says.
"No trouble at all I'm happy to help out" you say
"Thank you mr Smith this is a big help, it'll be one less thing to worry about. I have to leave now but I'll leave a check for expenses. Maggie has a key she can let herself in so she can pack and get the check then. Thank you again" the line disconnects
You look at Maggie "ok it's all set you'll stay with me. Your mother said I can bring you by your house to get your things and pick up a check she left us for expenses."
Maggie jumps up and down all giddy and hugs you, rubbing her body all over you excitedly " thank you so much mr Smith I promise I'll be a good house guest an s you won't regret this"
"I'm glad I can help you Maggie and please you can call me John since you'll be staying with me a while" you say
She kisses you appreciatively several times on your cheeks "thank you John this will be fun let's..."
