Wait right where you are for the Bouncer to be done

"I can wait til you're done," you say.
He grins. "I knew when you came through that door you'd be an eager little puppy."
You blush more. The bouncer flicks some switches, and all the lights in the bar go back up to full. He picks up a small microphone, and says, "Closing time," into it. His voice echoes through the bar. Don and Dave get up from their table, and as they pass by you, they clap you on the shoulder.
"Good night," Don says.
"Happy Birthday," Dave says.
They hesitate for a bit, but then go, leaving you with the bouncer.
You wait with him, and the bartender shows up, grabbing his coat as he leaves. He sees you and then glances at the bouncer.
"Don't break him," the bartender says. "He looks fragile."
The bouncer grins at the bartender, and says, "Good night, Mike," in a forceful voice.
The bartender leaves.
"I look fragile, huh?" you ask, but then the four guys from upstairs come down. They give you a series of looks as they pass, then leave. Once they're gone, the bouncer turns and smiles at you.
"He's just oversensitive," the bouncer says. "I did Mike once, and he could barely walk for a week."
You swallow.
"Second thoughts?" the bartender laughs.
