Try to tackle the goblin

As the small creature attempts to slam you with an overhead blow, you take advantage of your superior size and rush it with your shoulder. He has little time to react, hitting the ground and howling out in pain. He screams in his tribal tongue as his torch brightens up the ground around, showing blue circular ink tattoos that run from his left cheek to his forehead, as well as his leather tunic and extremely elongated ears.
Struggling with you, he knows he has no chance. As you pin his shoulders to the ground, a strange noise rings out through the room, a "chi-chic" as if it were a strangely-tuned gun. The goblin gives no more resistance. He chuckles a bit as you observe the room. It appears as if the sides of the room are getting higher.
The noise hits again, and again, and then again, and one more time, getting progressively faster. Suddenly you're at the lowest point in the room. The goblin's expression changes very suddenly, from a smug grin to horror. He screams and you scream along with him, and then the floor opens beneath the both of you, sending both of you into free fall, along with the torch that crackles alongside you, showing you the air.
