Due to backtracking, status indicators can't be used, so you'll have to keep track of Endurance and inventory. Speaking of your inventory, if you find a weapon (armor won't be included as of version 1.1) it will have a stat increase with it, so make sure you write that down too! You can have carry up to 5 Weapons, but use only one at a time. You may carry up to 10 Bag items.
Items are separated into several categories - Weapons, Bag items, Key items, Materials and Currency. You can carry up to 500 Currency, based on a simple system: a single copper is worth one Currency, a silver worth two, and a gold worth three. Other things are worth Currency, but those will be released later. You can carry up to 12 Key items. The amount of Materials you can carry is 200. More can be explained at any library.
