Debra turns to address Jessica, smiling pleasantly. "I see you're taking good care of your brother."
"He snuck into my bed, again."
"Boys will be boys. It's only healthy for him to be curious about girls."
With that, Debra leaves to look after James.
She puts on her uniform, thankful to get some privacy; but James will be after her, again, once she gets back home.
All's quiet, as Jessica waits at the bus stop. She's managed to make it before the morning rush, hoping there'd be a few free seats on the bus. Once it arrives, however, she finds only two, both of which are next to other people.
Toward the back sits Karen, playing with the curls of her blonde hair, as she works on, what's probably, her homework. A few rows down from her, Norman Holt is sitting, staring out the window, as usual.
