Creating children is an art form, and with something completely unique, you knew you had to be careful. It wouldn't be enough to simply get just anyone. The victim would have to be suitable, match the flower. You had created failures before, and reminded of them, you decided to avoid ever making them again.
It took you several days, but eventually you found a perfect match. The eldest daughter of the local baron, a young woman with a long curvy hair and striking blue eyes. She had a cold personality, and while the people loved her for her beauty, they hoped in their hearts the woman would never have any authority over them. She was set to be married soon, though she felt quite indifferent about that.
She was aristocratic and thorny in her demeanour, and you had a perfect match for that. A rose, still in a bud, that was going to grow into a large, beautiful flower with light red petals. And with your help, it'd grow even more beautiful. You found her to be quite fond of roses as well, which only maximized the chances of success.
