You send him off trotting with one leg. Then you see that all your friends are in the POW car and they all say spasibo which means thank you in Russian. Oh by the way, it might be good to know that you are 15 years old in Stalingrad, Russia. Your dad was killed in the war and your mom was taken to a POW camp. Your family was (is in secret due to Soviet oppression of religious rights) orthodox and you might be asking yourself why it matters. So lets get back to the story. After you freed your friends ,the German Army was told to be coming to Stalingrad and it was said they would wipe out the entire town. Now you have two choices; either go with your friends to Moscow or you can stay here and protect the town .
