You apologize to Jessica, and follow Jake into the master bedroom, where he closes the door. "What is it you wanted to talk about?" you ask.
"How are you adjusting to life here?" he asks.
"I love it. I can't picture myself anywhere else. I don't care about my past anymore, and just want to live out the remainder of my life here."
"Find anyone special yet?" he inquires.
"No, not yet. Why?"
Jake moves in close to you, and takes your hands. "Lorisa, I... I can't get over how beautiful you are. I know it's wrong of me to ask, but... I want you. I've wanted you ever since I rescued you from those orcs."
Gasping in shock, you blush and stare into his eyes. "B-but... you have Mary... you can't..."
Jake turns away in shame, as tears form in his eyes, "I love Mary, with all my heart, but... I can hardly control myself when I'm around you."
"Jake..."
"I'm just asking for this one time. I know it's a lot, but I'll never ask again. I swear."
