You decide your best plan of action is to get to Jim's place.
You walk the grueling 8 blocks to Jim's apartment. On the way you see not a single living soul. The eerie quietness is really scaring you.
You get to his place. He lives on the second floor so it's no use taking the elevator. You take the stairs. Once you get to his door you do a quick sputtering of knocks. No answer.... You knock again, this time louder... still no answer.
