You black out. You wake up a few hours later, finding yourself in a big white room.
You see your mom tearing up a bit on the left side of what seems to be your bed. The slight movement of your hands catches her full attention and quickly gives you a hug.
“Don’t worry, sweetie," your mom says. "The bully is gone and expelled from the school. The janitor saw you collapsed on the floor and witnessed him hitting you.”
You squint a bit and focus on what's happening right now. You remember confronting Carl, but you couldn't remember what happened after that. According to your mom, he hit you. And according to your arrival at the hospital, he hit you hard.
