You plea to the Senate to stop the Trade Federation from imposing a blockade on your planet. Unfortunately, your pleas are denied. The Senate is doubtful that the Federation poses a threat to Naboo - a lush world, with seemingly limitless resources, and a generator powerful enough to power Coruscant. You insist that the Federation intends to take over Naboo by force, however, the Senate is still doubtful.
Chancellor Palpatine insists he will do everything he can to convince the senators to intervene.
