TAKE A SHOWER

You decide to get a shower and something to eat and then snoop around her apartment looking for clues as to your identity. You turn the shower as hot as possible and for the first time, you really feel the pain in your body. Your arm is badly bruised and you have welts all over your stomach. You step out and look into the mirror for the first time. At once you might have been attractive but now you look like a mess. Your left eye is swollen so badly, it shuts your eyelid and you have cuts on your lip and welts on your cheeks. You rummage the medicine cabinet looking for aspirin or ointment. You find it funny that you can remember things you learned in school and general information but nothing about yourself. You take the aspirin and decide to apply a cold compress to your eye.
You walk into the kitchen and get some ice. You aren't very hungry at all. You sit on the soft couch and before you can exhale, you are fast asleep. When you wake up you decide to look around the apartment but before you can do that, someone knocks on the door. You look into the peephole and two large and angry-looking men are on the other side. They kick at the door. Scared to death, you open the window and look down at the fire escape.
