"Let's just sit tight for now," you say. Cassandra agrees.
You make the best of your situation, and when the both of you can't sleep, you begin chatting. Once you begin chatting, things loosen up a bit. You get to know one another, and then innocent flirtation starts. She warns you that she's married, but she's still smiling and flirting. You flirt back.
Finally, she leans closer to you, her eyelids heavy, and says "It might just be the fear talking, but if I wasn't married, I'd do terrible things to you."
You smile.
