(I guess you can go ahead and do some editing, but please, no TNG, no new movie, this is only 1960's Star Trek themed!)

Here begins the adventures and memoirs of Noah Poutre, assigned to the U.S.S. Lexington in the year 2268.

You materialize on the transporter pad of the U.S.S. Lexington. The transporter chief steps up towards you. "Welcome to the Lexington, Ensign," he smiles. "I'm Lieutenant James, but you can call me Jed. I assume you are our new engineer?"

You say:

• "Yes, that's me."
• "No, actually I'm part of the medical staff."
• "No, I'm the new science officer, Jed."
• "No, my specialty is actually operations."
• "I'm whoever you wish just please Don't prob me."
