Stand and quietly back away from the girl

You quietly raise your hands and back away from the girl. The human hunters rush up to her to make sure she's okay, though you feel you could have told them that. There's four hunters in total, three look over the girl and the last holds you at spear point. It's amusing to you that they seem to think they are threat to you. In the blink of an eye, you could kill all four of them. But you feel it's best to wait and see what happens.
The three humans looking over the girl whisper to each other, obviously trying to make sure you don't hear. But they don't seem to know how good a wolves ears are. You wonder if this is the first time they've ever seen a wolf before? They ask the obvious questions like how badly is she hurt, is she going to live, why would a monster attack her and then heal her? Things you don't care about.
But then your curiosities are answered as they speak of never seeing something like you before. You wonder how it's possible that these humans stayed after the exile, but figure that a small band of them must have escaped and fled to a remote portion of the island, where they never told their offspring about wolves.
You are brought out of your thoughts, as the oldest of the humans stands before you, and asks, "Monster, what exactly happened here?"
The fact that he only refers to you as monster is making your blood boil, but you somehow hold back a growl.
