Sneak out the back and go for a jog through the forest

I've made up my mind that I should play it safe and go for a jog through the forest behind my house. I creep out of my back-door and head into the opening of the forest.
I find myself walking through the trees for a few minutes when I hear something. Voices. It sounds like female voices. They're heading my way! I have to think fast. The trees are too dense in this area to run through. I'd just end up hurting myself. I could hide behind one of these bushes, although there's a greater chance that they might see me but I'd be able to escape easier. Of course, I could always climb a tree. They'd be less likely to spot me but I'd have nowhere to go if they do see me.
The voices sound even closer now. I have to make a decision.
