You level your pistol and fire at Captain Whitlock. Before the surprised pirate captain can react, the bullet in his chest fells him.
Two pirates, startled by the noise, turn to see what happened. You quickly shoot them as well.
Another pirate, this one with a thick black beard, comes on the deck and looks at the scene. "What..." he says, open-mouthed. "You! You killed our captain!"
