Another violent squeal the rat gives off as Serenity gave all that she has with her remaining strength. She was sapped of energy and that final swing was most likely her last. Trying to make further distance away from the rat, Serenity heavily breaths in and out trying to keep her heart functioning to its fullest.
Sadly, it wasn't enough and with a clean swipe, the rat gives off a final blow that knocks Serenity flat on the ground.
