Save the woman and her son

From Create Your Own Story

Using magic, you put out a section of the fire with water, big enough for the woman to run through. To help, you hold her child as you get out of the house - just in time to escape it collapsing. You turn to the woman and her son, who seems to be 12 years of age. "I am sorry for your loss. Is there anything you know about the monsters?" When the shake their heads, you prepare to leave, but the kid says something.

"A horse ran into the woods. Ride it back to the castle; it'll be faster."

"Thank you," you say, running into the forest. It doesn't take long to find a horse. Taking the monster skull, you head to the castle.
