"No, sorry. I can't. I don't want to miss my stop," you say. The couple looks disappointed but the girl nods in understanding while the guy peers out the window.
"Oh, good thing you said no. We would have missed our stop if you haven't," the boy says while quickly pulling the cord to signal a stop. The bus continues for only half a minute or so more before coming to a stop.
"Thanks anyway," the girl says as the couple gets up and leaves the bus. You look toward the front of the bus.
"Next Stop: Jayne's Avenue," the sign reads.
