"Can I have that back?" you ask the man while reaching for the note.
He crumples it up and shoves it into his pocket: "So you can try to scare more people off? No. Now cut it out."
You close your eyes and concentrate on what the note had said. It doesn't take you long to remember the code and you punch it in.
"4... 6... 7... 4... 2... "
The timer on the display vanishes as you put in the first few digits, now instead showing what buttons you've hit so far. Not that it matters, your own timer will expire you before the device's timer goes off so at least there is some minor reduction in the pressure.
With the numbers put in, you toggle the switches. First up is red, then green, then green again, and finally yellow. You pause when you get to the "BB" section of the code. There is a blue, and a black toggle. "BB" could stand for a few combinations of those. You aren't too sure if the note specified which order or not.
