The latest cases where the disappearances of Dan Corduroy and his eldest son Rick Corduroy. Dipper could barely remember Rick but if he guessed it was the guy about Wendy's age that always had hair covering his eyes all the time. Of course now looking at the picture in the newspaper. Dipper could see he was starting to look more like his father. With big muscles and short hair. He also seemed to sporting a new goatee and a beanie hat similer to the one Dipper had seen him wearing all those years ago.
Though Dipper was sad that Wendy's family had gotten involved. He noted that the sheriffs found Dan's truck out in the woods. Over turned with both the doors ripped clean off. Given this new info Dipper had a place to start looking and a crime scene he could investigate. Dipper wasted little time collecting the things he needed and left the shack to find the scene. Eventually he found the wreck exactly as the newspaper described it. The green truck was laying upside down in a ditch. The driver side and passanger side doors where torn clean off. Dipper walked around the whole truck but saw no other damage that could indicate who or what could have done this.
Dipper carefully approached the truck's empty door. Looking inside Dipper noticed the blood or at least the lack of any. Somehow both Dan and Rick escaped the crash without any wounds. Maybe they wheren't even in the car when it happened. All Dipper knew was that whatever happened to them they where probably unhurt. Now to find conclusive evidence to who or what did this.
