MKOT Go see your mother and sister off?

With a bit a trepidation you head out into the living room/kitchen area as you normally do when you go to see your mother and sister off. You find your mother hanging out in the kitchen while she waits for your sister to get ready to leave. Susan was looking fairly distant, like she was day dreaming, until you walked up. Now she is on high alert and watching you intently as you make your way over to her in order to talk quietly with her.
"Hey mom, uhh, listen...about yesterday.."
You were about to go into a well thought out apology when she interrupts you.
"Stop. You don't need to go bringing up the past, what happened happened and that's all there is to it."
"Yeah...I understand, but I was wondering if you were OK about what happened?"
"Well...a mother isn't supposed to do things like that with her son, but...I'll be fine, just going to keep it in the past. Being upset about it isn't going to change anything."
Hearing her say that she was fine with what happened really did wonders with your fear about her wanting your head, or the possibility of her taking to your dad about it. A very water under the bridge type of attitude. You decide it best to change the subject while you talk with her until your sister shows up. You see them off as you normally do with a hug for your sister and a kiss on the cheek from your mom, which gives her an opportunity to whisper to you.
"We can talk about what happened later today if you really want."
Before you can speak up they both head off out the door. Once they are gone you head back into your room to make sure you have everything you need for the day.
