Look for something to throw through the window

You look around the empty room for objects. There is nothing but the side of the room that is too dark to see with the naked eye.
However, you notice a few things that suddenly emerge from view. There is a small dark shadowy figure closing in to you. It seems to be a creature dragging one large arm and carrying a small marble. Then all three parts seem to fall off the creature.
You laugh, uncomfortable and nervous. You just found a cat, a rock and an umbrella.
Which do you throw?
