You close your eyes, trying to think of what happened before you got here. All you can think of is waking up here, the sun relentlessly trying to blind you through your eyelids, and the sand beneath your feet.
You open your eyes, gasping. Sand under my feet. There is no sand on this plateau (at least, you don't think there is), so you must have been somewhere off this plateau before. Not too surprising since the only sign of a person living here belonged to the guy you killed yesterday. But where? A beach? No, the sand wasn't the white sand found at a beach. It was more like the sand found in the desert. So you're born of the sands.
You can't see any deserts from here, but perhaps if you could find somewhere high up to get a better view. Of course, you can examine the cave or explore the plateau as originally planned.
