Catch up with you later!" you sent, anticipating no immediate response.
Disregarding Alex's potential trouble, you meandered through the castle's halls, passing students adorned in various magical robes. Prefects with golden halos above their heads, a magical embellishment for recognition, drew an eye roll from you. The religious allegory at a school for witches felt out of place and a tad ostentatious.
As you strolled further, marveling at the architecture and magical portraits, the castle whispered with history, tempting you to explore its hidden corners.
