Lean down and stroke its head

The cat leans forward and takes a sniff at your palm before nudging its head against your hand, and then your entire arm. It looks like a leopard, albeit smaller, and it certainly doesn't behave like many cats you've seen. The feline starts purring and nuzzling at your arm insistently, and it gives you a look that seems to suggest it hasn't received too much kindness in a long time. It licks you once on the back of the hand with its rough tongue and pads around in a little circle in front of you, then seems to take a few steps deeper into the park's woods.
