As you stand on the deck of the RMS Aquitania, looking out over the moonlit Atlantic Ocean, you think back over the events that have recently transpired. Your return voyage to van Helsing Manor was as uneventful as could be expected. What worries you is the dreams. Since the events in Cairo, you have been plagued by nightmares featuring strange shapes and impossible forms, awakening you each night panting and covered in sweat. The dreams are terrifying and grotesque, but for all their strangeness you find them unaccountably arousing. You fear that these dreams are but a symptom of the darkness you are now heading to face.
The Aquitania is bound for Boston. When it arrives, you plan to head by train to Providence, then recover the stone from the bay. Among the skills your father had you trained in is the deep diving techniques of the Mediterranean sponge farmers. Those skills, combined with a Fleuss breathing apparatus you've acquired, should allow you to descend to the bottom of the bay to search.
But that is when you arrive. Now, you are aboard one of the most modern and luxurious ocean liners, feeling bored and frustrated by the lack of action. The night is young, and maybe you should try to find some fun.
