Knock on the RA's door

"Hi, I was wondering, if you have any change?..sorry I'm Kate..I moved in upstairs. I'm really thirsty..and I don't have any change for the machine."
"Oh right, I'm Brian, I'm the RA. See it says my name there on the door?"
"Yeah,..Brian..residents assistant"
"Let me see if I have any change.."
"Oh that would be so kind of you, thank you."
"Well here's ten cents!" He says holding up a loose ten cents that was on a small table by the door.
"Oh great..but I need a dollar fifty for a bottle of coke..."
"Why don't you come in? I can find you your dollar fifty, what did you say your name was?" He asks her, handing her the ten cent coin with a smile before turning back into his room. Slightly unnerved by how cool this 18 year old kid seems to be.
"I'm Kate, I've moved into one of the singles upstairs."
"Oh nice, yeah sharing can be awkward sometimes so you got lucky there. I once had this roommate, he snored like an ox, he was a huge guy, I never had any space in the fridge, he was on the football team you see and.."
"Brian." Kate had shut the door quietly behind them and she had slipped off her t-shirt, leaving it on the back of a chair. "You can stop looking for change, I can just have a glass of water or something instead."
