Kick 'em

From Create Your Own Story

Mustering all the strength and courage you have, you raise your right leg and smash the German's skull against the window repeatedly, disarming him in the process. He uses his arms to defend himself, but your resilience defeats his futile attempts. Both the passenger and driver scream something in German and the car screeches to a halt.

Just as they exit the car to shoot you dead, you hear the sound of an incoming vehicle. And so do they, for the passenger whips the pistol out of his holster and begins firing at something behind the jeep. The blast of his pistol is deafening, but ends suddenly as the incoming car speeds past smashing into the passenger and ripping off the door he left open. The car drifts to the right, and a soldier leans out of the window, firing back at the driver of the jeep who dual wields two luger pistols. Fortunately for you he is outmatched, he cries out as he is drilled with bullets.

You watch this in both awe and terror.

You're too busy watching the events unfold in front of you to notice when the man next to you begins to reach for the gun under the driver's seat. You only realize it when he utters something in German, you turn your head to stare into the barrel. Words and images swirl around your brain, your entire life flashes before your eyes, this is the end for you. As he begins to squeeze the trigger, suddenly, the sound of a gunshot that isn't his startles you.

His head is thrown back as a bullet enters the side of his head, and exits through the other end, blood gushes profusely. You begin to gag. His limp body slumping in his seat.

You're so nauseated that you don't even notice the soldier that approaches the vehicle.

He taps on the window. "Come on, we're getting out of here." He says in a friendly, yet commanding tone. He grabs the keys from the German, releases you from the vehicle and unlocks your handcuffs. Relieved, you express your gratitude with a 'thank you.'

There's blood seeping from a wound in his forearm. He notices your observation and says, "I'll be alright. Come on, there'll be more coming this way. If you're hurt, we've got equipment in the back of the car."

"I'm fine," you murmur. Your throat is dry, and you're too dazed to speak at this moment in time.

You figure you can join them, they have weapons, useful equipment in their car, and if anyone attacks, you'll have people on your side. However, wherever they're off to is presumably dangerous, perhaps killing Nazis just isn't for you. You can take the Nazi's jeep and head home if you so wish.
