Keep silent and pretend to be asleep

You just want to get on with the rest of your life and get out of this house, so you keep silent, hoping she'll go away.
You hear whispering. Sounds like Grace and somebody else. A male. Weird, because you didn't think anyone else was in the house besides Grace, Julia and yourself. You stay still.
"He's either asleep or (...indiscernible whispering ...)," says Grace.
More whispering from the male voice.
It's kind of creeping you out for some reason, so you decide to make some noise in the bed so they'll think you're trying to sleep. You shuffle the blanket and bounce on the bed a bit. It makes a satisfactory creaking sound.
Silence. Not even the sound of retreating footsteps.
Whatever. After 3 or 4 minutes of just sitting there, you decide to actually get in bed, so you crawl under the covers and stretch out. Your Engineering book, which was laying on top of the covers, thuds loudly to the floor. Immediately there's a louder knock on the door.
"Sammy, it's Grace."
The door opens. In walks Grace. Her jet black hair is cut short (it was long this morning). She's wearing what appear to be black skin-tight parachute pants and nothing else.
