Melony is nothing but trouble, and debate sounds exciting to you. You head into a nearby class, where old Mr. Strat is waiting with some other girls and boys your age. Strat isn't elderly, but he certainly isn't a young man- he has a fatherly look about him. He smiles at you warmly and announces the arrival of his "new star". This is your first time trying out for debate but you showed your worth in a few debates for Mr. Strats history class. Strat goes over some introductory materials. As he talks, you catch a cute boy staring at you, but he abruptly turns his head. You smile to yourself, wondering if you should introduce yourself to your teammate after the intro. . As Mr. Strat dismisses the group, he asks you if you would please stay behind for a few minutes.
