Ignore Daryl's flirting

You choose to ignore Daryl's advances and instead get straight down to business.
"So, who was murdered?" you ask.
Daryl looks a tad disappointed that you didn't flirt with him, but doesn't seem too put out. He tells you that the victim was Jake Rogers, a senior at PDMHS.
"He wasn't exactly a friend," Daryl says. "I saw him around sometimes."
"How was he killed?" you ask.
"Pushed face first down a flight of stairs." Daryl answers. "At least, that's how it looked to me. The police say he could have been beaten up first."
You open your mouth to ask another question, but Daryl cuts you off.
"Nancy, I hate to leave such a beautiful detective," he says, "but I've got a hot grill waiting for me. See you around, okay?"
You say your goodbyes and leave the diner.
In a matter of minutes, you enter Paseo del Mar High School.
